Lydia
is one of the puppies that we're growing out from the Chet x
Daily litter, and she is such a fun puppy! She is joyful, loving,
and mischievous, and her tail wags non-stop. She truly has a
sense of humor, and you can tell by looking into her eyes when
she's about to do something wild! Like Elsa, Lydia has figured
out how to unlatch her crate door and let herself out when she's
finished her nap.
She
has always been active and agile. At five weeks of age, she was
hurling herself over the side of a 30" PVC x-pen. Dogs aren't
supposed to be able to climb out of PVC x-pens, but Miss Lydia
sure figured out how to do it very quickly!
Lydia
has a beautiful jet black coat that just glistens in the sun,
and her eyes, her neck, and her earset are exquisite. She is
going to be slower to mature physically than her litter brother
(Geraldo), so we're planning to do obedience and rally work with
her until she's more mature.
It's
often difficult to photograph black dogs, and it's especially
challenging to photograph Lydia. She is fascinated by the camera,
and every time she sees me with it, she runs over to check it
out and give me a kiss. Despite that, we have managed to get
a few nice photos of her, and here are some of our favorites:
Lydia
was sure that I was holding out on her, and that the baby wipe
container must really be filled with puppy food! <G>
