I first saw Daily at
the 2002 ASSA National in Shreveport, and I fell in love with her
soulful expression and her happy go lucky disposition.
When the judge was going over her on the
table, Daily's tail never stopped wagging! She had a
great time repeatedly taking the plastic off of her x-pen
that week too. <G>
Linda Sanders (Shamont Shelties) generously allowed
Daily to join our sheltie family in 2003, and we were
delighted to have such a lovely tri bitch as part of our breeding
program. Daily loves to show, and she currently has
six points toward her championship, including a four-point
specialty major.
Daily has produced some lovely puppies, and
we're very pleased to have four of them living
here---Geraldo, Lydia, Zelda, and
Bliss. Her offspring are successfully competing
in the conformation, herding, agility, and obedience
rings.
Daily has retired from the whelping box, and she
loves to spend her days supervising the other dogs from
the middle of her faux leopard skin doughnut bed or from
underneath the A-frame. She has a particular fondness
for UPS delivery trucks and never fails to alert us when one
starts down the driveway. Daily has an awesome sense of
humor, and she's a joy to live with. We are blessed to have
her as part of our sheltie family.
